These crazy Westboro Baptist Church worshippers changed the lyrics to the song We Are The World.

I’m all for freedom of religion, but when the end result is THAT, sociopath maniacs, I would be in favour of castrating them, rendering them infertile and locking them for life in Guantanamo.

The last 20 seconds are particularly troubling.

Midget + Camel = Strange

I wanted to publish this video without commenting, because frankly, this video doesn’t need commentaries, it is savoured as is!

But since this is an excerpt of a movie I MUST now watch since it is extremely weird, I thought it was complimentary to tell you more about it!

The video is an excerpt of a German movie from 1970 titled Auch Zwerge haben klein angefangen or, in english, Even Dwarfs Started Small. And yes, I know, it should be spelled dwarVES.

The movie description on the wikipedia article goes like this:

A group of dwarfs confined in an institution on a remote island rebel against the guards and director (all dwarfs as well) in a display of mayhem. The dwarfs gleefully break windows and dishes, abandon a running truck to drive itself in circles, engineer food fights and cock fights, set fire to pots of flowers, kill a large pig, torment some blind dwarfs, and crucify a monkey.

It has now officially been added to my list of B-movies to watch.

And now, I must refill my coffee mug because I spitted it out while watching the camel excerpt.

I think I should add a category named “parody of a bad foreign movie who tries to copy a commercial success”.

It would fit perfectly this video.

What if we mixed some Spider-Man with Nacho Libre (hence the mustache) in a Shaw brother’s Hong Kong flic, with italian actors?

They’re creating quite a buzz. In October, they were featured in the Belle et Bum show and this morning, Patrick Lagacé shed some more light on them.

Singing in Japanese, on a rockabilly riff, when your family name is Hamel or St-Jean is rather unusual.

It’s nevertheless what is now launching the carreer of the Doux Cactus, a Montreal based band who sang in Japanese one evening, for fun, and ended up making a 8 song album in Japanese.

Having had a relative success with the nipponophone (did I just invent the word?) community, they even made a scouting trip to Japan where they did a couple of gigs and filmed a video.

Of course, I’m partial from the start since there’s a horn section. On top of that, you know how I like Japanese junk.
