Hobbit skull
We knew
dwarves existed. We had heard rumours about
leprechauns and
gnomes, but we now
have evidence that hobbits existed.
And they were not simply shorter dumb humans. They were adapted to their size and lived in Indonesia.
So I’m keeping my hopes up for discovery of
elven artefacts.
brem, the
human.

A cute short film with 3D animation over a 2D movie.
It’s about a ladybug, who bugs bugs, and gets away with it. It’s nicely done, the sound and visual effects are great. Reminescent of the Star Wars high speed chases in some ways.
I like.
Click here or on the picture to watch the movie.

This totally Web 4.0 guy
Live Jamie gathered some weird YouTube videos of homemade/local TV ads.
Go
check it out. But the best ones are here.
It’s just like, a mini mall, eh?
Okay, this one is really weird. Especially the ending. I didn’t see that one coming.
I wonder if George Lucas sued the guy who made that next one.
The best for the last. No comments necessary.

Thanks Gog.

You know, I was looking for
Pickton trial bloggers. I only found
this blog by the 24 hour Vancouver news media. Better than nothing I guess.
Gruesome evidence detail of the day:
…part of a jawbone with five teeth was found in a pig trough…
- Vancouver 24hrs
Bonus Gruesome evidence detail of the day:
Three other suspects — apart from Robert William Pickton — were arrested in connection with the disappearance of missing Vancouver women, the officer in charge of the probe testified this morning.
Lynn Ellingsen was arrested on Feb. 10, 2002, nearly two weeks before Mr. Pickton’s arrest, RCMP Inspector Don Adam testified.
The jury heard during the trial’s first day that Ms. Ellingsen told police she witnessed Mr. Pickton “skinning a woman” in a barn on the suburban Vancouver farm.
- Globe & Mail
There has been 3 more arrests made in relation with the Pickton case. Two women, Ms. Ellingsen, and Ms. Taylor, and a man, Pat Casanova. According to the
Globe & Mail, he was charged with 15 counts of first-degree murder, including five of the six Mr. Pickton faces, whereas if I rely on
La Presse, he was released and no charges were made against him, nor against the two women.
This seems to me that the Crown is probably selling the three “new” suspects their freedom against a testamony against Pickton. Similar in what they did with Karla Homolka against Paul Bernardo.
I’m not sure they really need their testimony to prove Pickton guilty though. His three accomplices seem to have it too easy.
Anybody has more info on this?
Why can’t the press do its job and relate the news like they should. We’re left with ambiguous statements and conflicting accounts.
That pisses me off.
