Nouvelle mascotte pour Québec / Quebec City’s New Mascot

J’avais honte.
Je ne savais pas si je devais partager avec vous, mais puisque c’est partout dans les médias maintenant, autant ne pas nier le fait: Québec a une nouvelle mascotte, la clown Boucher.
On savait déjà qu’elle n’avais pas de goût pour se coiffer, mais là, c’est le comble, regardez la robe et les souliers! Bon Dieu! En visite officielle à Paris! Capitale Mondiale de la Mode!
De quoi on a l’air? D’une gang d’épais.
Chers habitants de la ville de Québec, vous le méritez. Vous l’avez élue, assumez votre épaisseur.

We already knew that she had no taste for her hairdo, but that is even worse. Look at the dress and the shoes! My God! On an official trip to Paris! World Capital of Fashion!
What do they think of us now? A gang of dumbasses.
Dear Quebec City citizens, you deserve this. You elected her, assume your dumbness now.

July 4th, 2006 at 9:12 amSPECTACULAIRE! Mon ancienne mairesse de Sainte-Foy, du temps où j’étais un étudiant plein de Pep à l’UL, MON ancienne mairesse donc, se surpasse. C’est époustouflant, et le photographe qui a immortalisé cette scène mérite un prix (et des vacances).

Moi je l’ai jamais aimée, quand les citoyens de Québec l’ont élue, j’avais été vraiment déçu.
Mais moi cette année là je suis déménagé sur la rive-sud, donc j’ai pas un mot à dire…
