TQS joue avec le feu en essayant de s’établir comme le mouton noir de la télé et s’est brûlé.
Gilles Proulx a eu des propos inacceptables en ondes et TQS n’a pas eu d’autre choix moral que de le suspendre indéfiniment, avec salaire, j’imagine.
YGRECK nous fait une caricature de l’événement que j’aime bien.
La station du mouton noir accumule les mal-aimés et controversés personnages de ce monde. Au début c’était de la petite controverse, Martin Everell et Jean-Luc Mongrain, des brasseux de marde, mais qui savent se restreindre. Since their 110% sports debate show was having success, they adapted the formula to the news and current events. They got Doc Mailloux, a lovely one-legged character a little metally imbalanced who claims is a psychiatrist because he got his diploma while smoking pot in the 60s. And as if this was not enough, when Radio-Québec fired Dutrizac because he supposedly had anti-muslim comments, TQS was there to pick up the pieces.

Quand tu veux faire dans le sensationalisme, il faut que tu t’attendes à attirer les regards, et pas toujours des regards de courtoisie. Gilles Proulx s’est foutu un doigt dans l’oeil et l’autre dans l’anus, et il se plaint que ça pue. TQS a réagit sommes toutes promptement en l’écartant des ondes. C’est facile quand t’as de l’argent à perdre de mettre un animateur sur la glace le temps que la poussière retombe. On va voir si TQS a des couilles ou si elle est chieuse dans les semaines et mois à venir.
When one wishes to go the sensationalist way, one has to expect to attract the attention, and not always the good kind. Gilles Proulx put a finger in the eye and the other in the ass and now he whines that it stinks. TQS reacted promptly by removing him from the waves. It’s easy to do when you have money to waste on a TV host by putting him on ice for a while until dust settles. We’ll see in the coming weeks and months if TQS has balls or not.

Tout comme Gilles Proulx, Jeff Fillion est fondamentalement une bonne personne, il a soutenu des causes humanitaires tenus des propos censés, mais ils ont tous deux dépassé les limites du respectable à plusieurs reprises. Une différence marquante, c’est que Jeff n’a jamais tenu des propos qui soutenaient la thèse que les adolescentes étaient provocantes et méritaient de se faire violer. Au contraire, si Fillion s’est attiré des foudres, c’est aussi parce qu’il a soutenu l’opération Scorpion à Québec lors des procès pour prostitution juvénile, en s’en prenant entre autres à des notables de la ville et à l’animateur déchu Robert “je suis un pédophile” Gillet.
As Gilles Proulx, Jeff Fillion is fundamentally a good person. He encouraged many humanitarian causes, he said things that made sense, but both crossed the acceptable lines many times. One striking difference is that Jeff never said he that provocating teen girls deserved to be raped. In fact, Fillion even made enemies because he was supporting the opération Scorpion in Quebec City during the juvenile protitution trials, picking on city notables and the deposed radio host Robert “i am a pedophile” Gillet.
Je ferai quand même remarquer que Robert Gillet, qui a pissé dans la gueule et fourré de jeunes adolescentes de moins de 18 ans moyennant rétribution monétaire n’a pas eu à payer 300 000$ d’amende aux victimes et s’en est tiré par une peine de travaux communautaire à éplucher des patates pendant 3 mois (oui oui… des patates).
Alors lorsque dans un article précédent j’annonçais que la juste suite des choses pour l’affaire Gilles Proulx serait une poursuite de plusieurs centaines de milliers de dollars et la perte pure et simple de son emploi, je ne m’attendais évidemment pas à ce que ça arrive vraiment. Enfin, on verra l’avenir.
Moi je suis déçu des peines sur des délits sexuels que notre Justice donne.
Je suis aussi déçu qu’en tant que société, on choisisse de taper sur une personne ou une autre et que dans certains cas ça passe, et dans d’autres, ça passe pas. On dirait qu’on choisit nos bourreaux.
Je me rappelle de plusieurs personalités, comme Kathleen et Jean-Marc Parent entre autres qui se sont fait descendre avec acharnement par Normand Brathwaite et ses “humoristes” invités (c’était toujours les même…), semaine après semaine. Il aura fallu qu’il s’en prenne à Daniel Pinard, un homosexuel notoire pour que ça dérange quelqu’un. Un instant. Riez de Jean-Marc et de Kathleen, mais ne riez pas des gais! Ça se fait pas ça!

On vit dans une société hypocrite ou tout le monde essaie de lécher l’autre pour s’attirer des faveurs. Si t’as le malheur de ne pas lécher ou de lécher les mauvaises personnes, gare à toi.

Juste une petite correction concernant ton article. Le Dr. Mailloux n’est pas psychologue… il est psychiatre. Ceci implique qu’il est d’abord et avant tout médecin et qu’il s’est spécialisé en psychiatrie. À mon avis cela rend ses propos encore plus déplacés et farfelus compte tenu qu’il traite réellement des patients et peut même leur prescrire des médicaments. C’est à se demander qui peut bien aller le consulter mais bon…
