Oiling a bunny rabbit

No, it is not a culinary term.
But it’s an expression I invented myself. I’m very proud of it.
It seems this expression has made a few of my friends laugh. I can’t blame them, it’s true, the term is rather funny. But in order to demystify it all, I offer this humble explanation
Before further continuing, a little bit of anatomy.
A rabbit has scent glands that allows it to mark its territory. Often, these odours are not detected by humans. However, because of the way they are located, being under the jaw and on both sides of the anus, it happens, especially for the glands located on the butt that some skin covers the gland, and causes a waxy buildup. It is recommender that once a month or once every 2 months to check if there is no waxy buildup near those glands. If one waits to long, a smell, similar to that of a skunk will arise. That’s when it really is time to wash it up.
To wash it, a wet “q-tip” with some soap works fine. Usually, that’s the recommendations we see on the internet. It stops there.
Personally, I also like to add a bit of baby oil after the clean-up so that my rabbits smell good, and also to help the skin to not fold immediatly around the glands. I had this idea following a discussion with another rabbit owner. He does it with his rabits. I thought the idea was good.
That’s where the expression “to oil a rabbit” comes from.
I’m sorry for those of you who would have liked something more “spicy”. Bummer.

Edit: added a more explicit picture.
